Well, the Jennie DeVoe Band is currently out playing shows in and around Central IN as well as upcoming shows in Cincinnati OH & Seattle WA. More shows are currently being planned both close to home and in various other cities so keep checking out the updated schedule below then make plans to come on out and enjoy the band's music live! 3rd studio CD Update. Not much new news here other than Jennie and the band continue to work on finishing up songs for this CD. The lowdown on the song Mona Lisa (which doesn't appear on TYGN) is that it should be on this CD ... at least that's what Jennie said at the CD Release Party. Please bear with me as I'm reconstructing the site and will be putting up missing pages on my web hosting site .... so if you get a page error, I'm working frantically to minimize down time. Thanks. With Jennie's beautiful soulful voice backed by a group of very talented musicians, this group is on the verge of wider recognition outside their loyal fan base in the Midwest. If you haven't heard any of their music then you are in for an auditory experience of fantastic singing, award winning songwriting and excellently crafted music that shows a diversity of songs that few bands today can match. It appears that our own little Jennie is becoming an in demand voice for singing our National Anthem!!! On 4th of July 2001, she proudly sang BOTH National Anthems of the U.S. and Canada prior to the Indianapolis vs. Ottawa baseball game. She most recently thrilled 150,000+ race fans with her beautiful rendition prior to the 2001 IROC at INDY. Jennie also sang the National Anthem prior to the Men's final of the 2001 RCA Tennis Championships. |

Apparently Jennie and the band impressed the decision makers @ IMS with last year's performance that they've been asked back again this year. JDB will perform a concert in the Plaza behind the Tower Terrace grandstands on Saturday 3 August immediately following the 2nd day of qualifying for the 2002 Brickyard 400. Jennie will also sing the National Anthem prior to the running of the IROC @ Indy race. |
